Cheryl Krichbaum is an award-winning author, speaker, and writing coach called to change the abortion conversation.
Although most women have abortions in their 20s, Cheryl had hers when she was 17. Her soul lost vitality (Ps 32:4) as she became the walking dead.
Mad at God for her life circumstances, Cheryl defended her choice for one-and-a-half decades, volunteering and protesting on behalf of "women's rights."
When she realized that Jesus loved her no matter what, Cheryl chose a personal relationship with God and later took responsibility for her "choice"—and gave her a name. Slowly, her soul began to revive.
After sharing her testimony with church audiences a couple times with cold responses, Cheryl determined that her story was not okay to share, so she went silent for another decade or so.
While on a mission trip in Africa, Cheryl found herself saying that women must speak up about abortion. She was called.
But she didn't want her calling.
After wrestling with God for a month, Cheryl finally said, "Yes," perhaps a bit begrudgingly. Yet she appreciated feeling closer to God than ever before.
